Job summary

C&K Market Inc. is seeking a friendly Checker to accurately process grocery transactions at our store. You will bag orders, operate a 10-key, scan items, weigh when needed, and help customers with payment and basic checkout tasks.

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, stocking shelves, and keeping the checkstand area clean. You may also assist customers to their vehicles and support a smooth shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Experience using a 10-key calculator or cash register.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Basic math skills for making change and totals.

Responsibilities

• Remove groceries from carts and conveyer belt, scan for price or weigh on scale.
• Bag orders and accept payment, making change as needed.
• Assist customers to vehicles with groceries when required.
• Face shelves and keep the checkstand area clean, swept, and organized.
