Job summary

Eastside Food Co-op is seeking a Grocery Buyer to manage ordering, receiving, and stocking for the department. You will ensure accurate delivery of goods, minimize out-of-stocks, and help maintain department procedures and inventory control.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to handle multiple priorities, and initiative. You will work with the Grocery Manager on promotions, merchandising, and staff training.

Responsibilities

• Order products from vendors and maintain appropriate inventory.

• Monitor quantities and participate in inventory counts.
• Maintain department procedures and health code compliance.
• Assist with training Grocery Staff and support the Grocery Manager.
