Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Grocery Bakery/Deli Worker at DECA-PATRICK AFB. The role focuses on friendly customer service and efficient food handling, with a part-time schedule and friendly team environment.

You will weigh, wrap, price items, assist with displays, greet customers, take orders, and handle payments. Training is provided, with benefits and opportunities at many sites including shifts and varied duties.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, price, wrap selected foods on plates, trays, and in bags.
• Prepare food displays, greet customers, take special orders, and answer basic questions about specialty foods.
• Assist in preparing, cooking, decorating a variety of food items, receive/unload trucks, store stock, and take payments.
• Attend work and show up on time for scheduled shifts.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client requirements.

Pay Range: $17.75 per hour - $17.75 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Grocery Bakery/Deli Worker at Sodexo, you are a pair of helping hands and a good mood motivator. Your welcoming customer service puts a smile on people's faces and makes an impact in their everyday lives.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in weighing, pricing, and wrapping selected foods on plates, trays, and in bags
• Prepare food displays in counter cases and other display units, Greet customers as they arrive at service counter, take special orders, and answers basic customer questions about specialty foods.
• May assist in preparing, cooking, and decorating a variety of food items, receiving and unloading trucks, storing stock, and taking payment from customers.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
