Kroger is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger for our Wasilla, AK store to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will bag groceries, help customers, and keep shelves and aisles clean and safe.

The role emphasizes safety, friendly service, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Prior retail experience is helpful, but we welcome ready-to-learn individuals who value accuracy and customer care.

Responsabilités

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout
• Offer to help customers with loading bags into their car
• Perform basic shelf conditioning
• Inform customers of grocery specials
• Return merchandise to store shelves
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas
• Clean spills and trash inside store and parking lot
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers
• Adhere to safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify management
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
• Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying when repairs are needed
• Provide friendly customer interaction and answer questions about products
