Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger at our Millington, TN location. You will bag groceries at checkout, assist customers with loading bags, and help keep the store clean and organized. The role requires a friendly, helpful attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues
• Strong customer service orientation
• Willingness to help customers load bags into cars (customer service)

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and ensure items are bagged securely
• Assist in removing customer merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and price checks for cashiers
• Maintain store cleanliness inside and outside the store
• Provide information on grocery specials and locate products
• Adhere to safety procedures and food safety regulations
• Greet customers and create welcoming environment
