Job summary

You will lead day and night crews, schedule staff, oversee stock, signage, and inventory control, train new employees, and ensure operations run smoothly to deliver value to shoppers and the community.

Responsibilities

• Follow through training, reports and supervision tasks, keeping the department clean, full and organized.
• Develops department schedules, promotions, sales forecast
• Oversees day and night grocery crew shifts while maintaining retail standards
• Oversee supplier invoices and returns
• Maximize sales through effective stocking procedures
• Request and ensure proper signage
• Train new grocery and receiving employees using training checklists
• Responsible for achieving and exceeding margin and sales targets
• Control spoilage and shrink; achieve turn goals and inventory control
