Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a part-time Associate in New Jersey. The role focuses on stocking, organizing, and presenting grocery items to meet customer demands while driving sales. You will build displays, rotate stock, and ensure products are clean, properly priced, and accessible for customers.

You will greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns in a courteous manner while maintaining sanitation and safety standards. Training is provided for equipment use and backroom tasks.

Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the Grocery department well stocked, organized and appealing to meet customer demands and maximize sales.
• Build displays to drive incremental sales.
• Stocks and rotates merchandise to ensure freshness.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.
• Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure products are properly located on shelves, with correct prices and signs.
