Job summary

ShopRite of Palisades Park is seeking a Grocery Clerk to Price, stock, and rotate merchandise while delivering outstanding customer service. The role emphasizes maintaining a neat department, adhering to safety standards, and assisting customers with a friendly, helpful attitude.

Location is Palisades Park, NJ, with training programs to support growth in merchandising and display. The position may require lifting up to 60 lbs and standing for long periods during shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Able to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Greet Customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Observe safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Keep shelves stocked and prices updated.
• Follow HACCOM and QA standards for handling products.
• Unload and stock merchandise and rotate stock as needed.
