Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly service in our Fresh departments, building connections with customers and helping them find what they need.

You will maintain fresh displays, stock and merchandise, and use technology to complete tasks accurately while following food safety standards.

If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and are physically active, this is a great fit; prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
