Job summary

Caterpillar Mapleton Seals is seeking a Grinding Specialist to operate and set up grinding equipment, producing precision parts to tight tolerances. The role requires careful attention to detail, adherence to safety practices, and the ability to read and follow written instructions.

The successful candidate will join a team on 2nd or 3rd shift, with starting pay of $23.22 per hour plus a $1.00 night shift premium for 3rd shift.

Production Associate / Grinding Specialist

Caterpillar Mapleton Seals is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented person to join our team as a Grinding Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating grinding machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.

This role includes salary starting at $23.22/hour with periodic wage increases, healthcare insurance, employee discount programs, free employee assistance program, and more. Depending on business requirements, normal working hours will be 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Don't miss this opportunity! We also offer an additional $1.00/hour night shift premium for our 3rd shift employees!

Top Candidates Will Also Have

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge in reading and interpreting prints
• Strong understanding of machine and manufacturing principles

Additional Information

• Positions available on 2nd and 3rd shift
• 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday
• 3rd shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday night - Friday morning
• This position does not offer relocation
• This position requires no travel
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• Positions are supplemental full-time
