Job summary

Lee Spring Company in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Second Shift Assembler to load, heat-treat, rinse, and pack springs according to process instructions. You will operate ovens, verify quality, and keep a clean, safety-focused workspace.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read work instructions, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload springs into and out of drying ovens per instructions.
• Load and unload springs into heat-treating ovens while meeting production standards.
• Load and unload springs into passivation tanks following safety and quality procedures.
• Rinse springs after passivation to meet quality specs.
• Inspect parts for defects and report quality concerns.
• Pack finished parts per company standards for transfer to shipping.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area per safety policy.
• Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload springs into and out of drying ovens in accordance with established work instructions.
• Load and unload springs into and out of heat-treating ovens while maintaining required production standards.
• Load and unload springs into and out of passivation tanks following established safety and quality procedures.
• Rinse springs after completion of the passivation process to ensure product quality specifications are met.
• Inspect parts for obvious defects and notify the supervisor of any quality concerns.
• Pack finished parts according to company standards and prepare them for transfer to the shipping area.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company safety policies.
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
