Job summary

CPP Industry in the United States is seeking Grinders to join our team. This full-time, on-site role offers pay ranging from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour DOE.

You will operate a stand grinder, inspect castings, remove gates and excess metals, and maintain clean work areas. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examine and feel surface for defects.
• Start grinder and move surface to remove imperfections and excess material.
• Operate a stand grinder to remove gates, risers, rough spots and other excess metals from castings.
• Work with medium to large size castings.
• Work is subject to inspection and check, with instructions given on new work or variations in requirements.
• Grind to maintain contours and present smooth surfaces.
• Sort, stack and move castings as directed.
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management

• Operate a stand grinder to remove gates, risers, rough spots and other excess metals from a variety of castings in accordance with specifications.
• The operator works with medium to large size castings.
• Work is subject to inspection and check, with instructions given on new work or variations in requirements.
• The work includes grinding to maintain contours, present smooth surfaces, etc...
• The operator sorts, stacks and moves castings as directed.
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Ability to work overtime.

Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
