RBC Aircraft Products, a RBC Bearings Incorporated company in Torrington, CT, is seeking a Grind Machine Setter/Operator for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will set up and operate various grinding machines (mechanical and CNC) and related automation, reading blueprints, and documenting production and quality data.

OT may be required and shift differentials apply. The role requires basic measurement with micrometers/calipers, strong math and manual dexterity, and the ability to work on-site on evening

RBC Aircraft Products, Inc located in Torrington, CT. is looking to hire Machine Set Up Operatorsto join our team!

2nd Shift Monday-Friday 2:30PM-11:00PM starting pay DOE at $22.00 with a 10% shift differential OT required
3rd Shift Monday - Friday 9:30PM-6:00AM starting pay DOE at $22.00 with a 15% shift differential OT required

80 hours of vacation and 40 hours of sick time eligible

This person will be responsible for setting up and operating various grinding machines (mechanical and CNC) along with their robotic or automated accessories. Must follow established procedures to produce parts to specification while striving to meet or exceed efficiency standards. Must be able to use basic hand tools, measuring equipment including micrometer, caliper, indicator, etc. Able to read/ comprehend basic blue prints and complete production and quality documentation, responsible for complying with internal quality systems and procedures. Attendance at work is an essential function of the position.

Solid match skills required (addition, subtraction, decimals to 5 places). Manual dexterity and ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks. Available to work overtime as needed. Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for the entire shift.

Previous mechanical/manufacturing experience, particularly ID, OD, double disc or centerless grinding is desired.
