Southern Foodservice Management Inc. is hiring a Cook for the NPTU location in Goose Creek, SC. The role encompasses operating the Short-Order Grill Station, assisting in food prep, and ensuring safe handling and cooking per TB MED and HACCP standards.

You will maintain temperature logs, stock the grill, and serve meals during service times, while upholding safety procedures and company standards. The position includes various duties across preparation, service, cleaning, and other assigned

Responsibilities

• Operating the Short-Order Grill Station during meal periods.
• Assist in the kitchen with food preparation duties and cooking of sides and other items as assigned by Manager.
• Maintaining proper food safety and handling techniques per applicable food code (TB MED) and HACCP standards.
• Maintaining food temperature logs at Grill Station and for items prepared in the kitchen.
• Following and enforcing proper safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Properly set-up and stock Grill Station for service by prescribed timeline.
• Operate short order Grill Station during service times.
• Cooking of required meal items according to the daily menu.
• Check temperatures for required ranges, ensuring correct internal temperatures.
• Re-filling food items as required during service and break down service areas after the meal period ends.
• Properly clean Grill Station and equipment after each meal period.
• All staff may be assigned other duties by Assistant Managers or Supervisors.
