Job summary

The Lake Club in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Grill Cook to join our culinary team. This full-time role focuses on grilling for à la carte dining, private events, and catering, with a typical schedule Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Occasional Sundays may be required for special events. The Grill Cook will prepare and cook dishes per chef specifications, using a variety of techniques while maintaining food safety standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred
• 2 years grilling/cooking experience preferred
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, grill equipment, and food safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes to order on the grill according to menu specifications
• Ensure food is cooked to appropriate temperatures and plated correctly
• Grill proteins and maintain a clean, organized workspace with food safety in mind
• Assist with menu development and suggest new items
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house to meet guest needs
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards during all tasks
