Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time GRILL COOK at Gadsden Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL. You will prepare food and serve at the grill station, following federal, state and corporate standards to ensure high-quality meals for patients and staff.

The schedule is Monday–Friday 8:30 am–5:00 pm, with every third weekend 6:00 am–2:00 pm. Previous cooking experience is preferred but not required, and training is provided. Pay ranges from $10–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with applicable standards.
• Takes orders, completes orders from steam tables, and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Maintains proper food temperatures, quality, and portion control.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains work areas and equipment.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports to supervisor.
