Job summary

Compass Group USA's Epicurean team in San Francisco is hiring a full-time Grill Cook to prepare food and serve customers at the grill station in accordance with federal, state, and company standards. You will take orders, ensure proper temperatures, and maintain cleanliness while working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Prior grill cooking experience is required, with free meals and uniforms provided at select locations.

Qualifications

• Previous grill cooking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service.
• Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service.
• Maintains records from area worked during service periods.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and portion control.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils.
