Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station, ensuring high-quality service according to applicable standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Takes customer orders and prepares items requiring short preparation times; completes orders from steam tables and serves at multiple stations.
2. Serves customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established procedures for ticket collection and records during service.
4. Follows recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
5. Handles pans, kettles, and trays safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
6. Stores foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
7. Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
8. Addresses customer concerns and reports issues to supervisor.
9. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
10. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
11. Performs job safely and maintains a clean work environment.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
