Position Summary

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Grill Cook. The role prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards.

Location & Schedule

Northrop Grumman Melbourne – 2000 West Nasa Boulevard, Melbourne, FL 32904.

Full‑time schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM.

Pay Range

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior grill cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Background screening (Florida Level 2) may be required.

Job Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers efficiently and friendly while meeting service standards.
• Ensures food is at correct temperature, attractive, and tasty; tastes all prepared food items.
• Uses established ticket‑collection procedures during service and records activity.
• Operates approved recipes and production standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays between workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores foods in designated areas following food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor.
• Attends in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
• Performs work safely while maintaining a clean environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
