Compass Group USA—Wolfgang Puck Catering in Fort Worth is hiring grill cooks for full and part-time openings at Cafe Modern. Prior line-cook experience and open availability are required. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.50 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous line cooking experience is required.
• Open availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation; completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service; ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service; responsible for records from area worked during service periods.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Carriers pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations; follows safety standards.
• Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food safety procedures.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas and utensils.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
