Job summary

Compass Group USA's Eurest division is hiring a Grill Cook in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This full-time role runs 6:30 am - 2:30 pm with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour. Online applications are accepted at the Spencer's Spirit location, 6826 Black Horse Pike.

As a grill cook, you will prepare food, serve customers, follow recipes, maintain food safety, and work with a team to provide high-quality service. Benefits include paid holidays, PTO, meals, and insurance after a 90-day trial.

Qualifications

• Must be able to prepare and serve food at grill station following federal, state and corporate standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain proper serving temperatures and portion control.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Ensures food is at correct temperature, attractive and tasty.
• Maintains sanitation, safety, and cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports issues to supervisor.
• Attends safety meetings and maintains good coworker relationships.
