Canteen, a service brand of Compass Group USA, is hiring a full-time COOK in El Dorado Hills, CA. This role prepares food to standard recipes, supports service, and upholds HACCP safety standards.

Candidates should have prior customer service and grill cooking experience, with a commitment to quality, teamwork, and reliability. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:30 am–2:00 pm; compensation is $21–$23 per hour with benefits.

• Previous customer service and grill cooking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and maintaining food at required temperatures.
• Maintains kitchen cleanliness and food storage according to safety standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed and reports maintenance needs.
• Assists with ordering and receiving of food and supplies as required.
