Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for grill cook positions at TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston, TX. The roles are full-time and part-time with schedules 6:00 am–2:00 pm and 11:00 am–7:00 pm.

Previous grill cooking experience is preferred, and online applications are accepted. You will prepare food at the grill station, take orders, serve customers, follow safety and quality standards, and work with a team to deliver high-quality meals to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous grill cooking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation. Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service meeting outlined standards.
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
