Job summary

American Taco Company/Scruff's Grill is seeking a motivated kitchen worker to prepare all food orders accurately and promptly, following guest requests and our recipes. You will communicate with teammates and customers to ensure orders meet high standards.

Responsibilities include cooking during busy periods, washing dishes in a 3-sink setup, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and supporting a positive, team-focused atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Be able to work days, nights, and weekends (Saturdays only & Saturdays are required).
• Be able to work 32-40 hours per week.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Reach and lift overhead up to 50 pounds.
• Work in hot temperatures and with airborne particles.
• Learn quickly and adapt.

Job description

The employee is responsible for preparing all food orders within a timely manner and according to guest special request and American Taco Company/Scruff's Grill recipes. Communicates with the other employees and the customer to ensure the food orders exceed the guests expectations.

Responsibilities

• Please our guests by correctly preparing menu items to our high standards of cooking.
• Wash dishes in a standard 3 sink operation.
• Meets company standards of quality, safety, cleanliness and hospitality in providing guests with the best food possible.
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example.
• Follows American Taco Company/Scruff's Grill's operational policies and procedures, including those for safety and security, to ensure the safety of all employees and guests during each shift.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance

Qualifications
