Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Grill Cook at Loyola University New Orleans. You will work as part of a team to prepare nutritious dishes, focusing on customer service and food safety, with open availability across varying shifts.

This part-time position offers an hourly wage of $17 and a comprehensive benefits package, including PTO and health coverage; you will contribute to reducing food waste and delivering great meals across Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and events.

Responsibilities

• Attends work and shows for scheduled shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned per client requirements.

What You’ll Do:

As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
