Job summary

SodexoMagic is seeking a Grill Cook for an auto manufacturer site. This full-time role involves overnight shifts and a focus on teamwork, quality food preparation, and customer service.

The position offers growth and a path to a career within our hospitality and facilities services portfolio. You will read recipes, measure ingredients, and prepare a variety of hot and cold items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events while working with kitchen equipment.

• Team-oriented, adaptable, and reliable behavior in a kitchen environment.
• 0-2 years of related experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and events.
• Read and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte station and operate grill/fryer equipment.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client needs.

What You'll Do:

As a Grill Cook at SodexoMagic, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You'll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
