Job summary

The Budd Group in Clayton, NC is seeking a Material Handler for night shifts. This full-time role focuses on waste management and material handling, including safe packaging, labeling, and staging of waste, and operation of forklifts and pallet jacks to move waste and recyclables.

You will wear PPE, follow safety standards, maintain logs, and collaborate with site leaders on urgent disposal or recycling requests. Valid driver's license and experience with pallet jacks and forklifts are required.

• Ability to wear all required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, package, label, and stage biohazardous and medical waste.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move solid waste and recyclables across the site.
• Wear all required PPE and strictly follow safety standards.
• Keep logs accurate (weights, temperatures, autoclave testing, and destruction manifests).
• Partner with site leaders to handle urgent disposal or recycling requests.

• Pay: $15.00 per hour

• Schedule: Full-Time | Thursday & Friday: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM; Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Set 40-hour schedule across 4 days)

• Location: US 70 BUS Clayton, NC

• Requirements: Valid Driver's License, Pallet Jack & Forklift experience preferred, ability to wear all required PPE
