Job summary

Pentair's Manitowoc Ice division in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Gridline Operator to operate the grid oven, washer, conveyor conveying equipment and tube bender per the operating manuals. You will use fixtures and hand tools to assemble evaporators and perform related tasks.

You will also read engineering drawings, complete paperwork, and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, team-oriented environment while ensuring safety and quality at all times.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical assembly in a physical manufacturing environment and equipment operations.
• Operate torch for solder repair.
• Read and use measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble partitions and evaporators.
• Inspect and perform minor repair of evaporators;
• Produce Evaporators per Safety, Quality and Efficiency standards.
• Interpret and apply engineering drawings instructions and standards.
• Complete all needed paperwork and use a computer.
• Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, team-oriented environment.
