Job summary

The South Carolina Research Authority (SCRA) seeks a Program Manager to organize, coordinate, and track NSF Engine efforts across the Carolinas. You will serve as a key liaison among SCRA, UNC Charlotte, Engine partners, industry stakeholders, entrepreneurs, investors, and state organizations.

You will develop processes, manage projects and timelines, track milestones, and plan Engine activities to meet objectives and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, engineering, technology management, economic development, or related field.
• Five or more years in program/project management or related fields.
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives with academic, industry, government, or nonprofit partners.
• Experience developing reports, tracking metrics, and managing program performance systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, CRM platforms, and reporting tools.
• All duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute NSF Engine activities with partners and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, trackers, and governance frameworks.
• Monitor commitments, milestones, performance metrics, and strategic objectives.
• Update Engine CRM and official records for reporting and compliance.
• Facilitate communication among Engine partners, leadership, and external stakeholders; support outreach via websites, newsletters, and press releases.
• Serve as administrator to collect, analyze, and report program data; prepare dashboards and briefing materials.
• Identify risks and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
• Support NSF reviews, site visits, audits, and governance/compliance processes.
