Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university or credentialed software accelerator program.
• Degree focused in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering Power Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Informatics, Information Science/Technology, MIS or related STEM majors
• Must commit to working full time (40 hrs/wk) during the internship.
• Graduating between December 2027 or May 2028

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on Grid Reliability Projects: work with the engineering team to analyze current grid systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Support Renewable Energy Integration: assist in evaluating strategies for solar and wind integration into the grid.
• Data Collection and Analysis: gather and analyze data related to grid operations and renewable energy integration.
• Participate in Cross-Functional Teams: engage with various departments to support GE Vernova's electrification and decarbonization missions.
