Job summary

Fricker's in Maumee, OH is seeking a friendly hostess/greeter who will be the first and last person guests see, creating a welcoming first impression and a positive goodbye. Your duties include greeting guests, sharing specials, managing a waitlist, seating guests, bussing tables, assisting servers, and entering carryout orders into the POS system.

We offer training, feedback, and opportunities for development; you should be in uniform, flexible, reliable, and able to work various shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous hostess/greeter experience preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and inform them of specials and events.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them back.

Description

As a Fricker’s hostess/greeter, you are the first and last person the guests will see during their visit. We are counting on you to make sure that first impression is excellent. As the last person they will see as they leave, it is up to you to make sure the guests leave happy!

Your job responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests as they arrive and informing them of specials and events.
• Thanking guests as they leave and inviting them back.
• Managing a waiting list, seating guests, bussing tables, and assisting servers.
• Entering carry out orders into the POS system, suggestive selling, ensuring orders are correct and handling money.
• Assisting servers and managers throughout the dining room.
• Making sure that every guest leaves happy!
