Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment is seeking a part-time Greeter/Counter Desk Attendant to welcome guests, manage the waitlist, and assist with league preparation. You will ring sales, handle cash procedures, and operate the POS and P/A systems to ensure smooth guest experiences.

The role emphasizes friendly service, strong phone etiquette, and the ability to guide guests through basic bowling instructions while maintaining a vibrant, safe entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; optional hospitality experience.
• Excellent telephone etiquette.
• Proven success in school or previous job experience.

Responsibilities

• Be friendly and inviting to guests in person and over the phone.
• Manage the waitlist and track availability; assign lanes, shoes, and other equipment.
• Prepare for leagues and ring sales at the counter with cash control procedures.
• Notify mechanics of pinspotter/pinsetter malfunctions and log issues.
• Assist guests with basic bowling instructions; operate POS, central panel, computers, and P/A system.

WHAT OUR GREETERS/DESK ATTENDANTS DO

Greeters/Desk Attendants set the tone for everyone who enters our doors, giving us our first opportunity to impress our guests and provide them with the kind of "WOW" factor they've been looking forward to.

A GREETER/ DESK ATTENDANT’S DAY-TO-DAY

• Be friendly and inviting to our guests in person and over the phone
• Manage the waitlist
• Track availability and assign lanes, shoes & other equipment
• Prepare for leagues
• Ring sales at the counter and follow our cash control procedures
• Promptly notify our mechanics of any pinspotter/pinsetter malfunctions and log these issues
• Assist our guests with basic bowling instruction (no, you don't need to show them your trick shots, just the essentials)
• Operate our POS system, central panel, computers, and P/A system

WHAT IT TAKES

• HS Diploma or equivalent restaurant/hospitality experience (Optional)
• Proven success in school/previous job experience
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Must meet the minimum age required by state law to serve alcohol

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Typical entertainment environment where you will walk, bend and stand for periods of time, and may lift objects with some assistance.
