Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are always stocked and customer needs are met with friendly service. This entry-level role supports merchandising, stock movement, and backroom organization in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will work as part of a team, follow established procedures, and handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs. Overnight shifts are required at times to prepare the store for the day.

Qualifications

• Retail or stock clerk experience preferred.
• Able to follow processes and stay organized.
• Willing to work overnight shifts and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers and support store operations.
