Job summary

Wellen Park Golf and Country Club is seeking a Greenskeeper II to maintain the golf course and support guest service in a hospitality environment. You will handle bunkers, operate maintenance equipment, and prepare beds for sod and seed while helping with course detail and set-up procedures.

Ideal candidates have one month of related experience, possess a valid driver’s license, and demonstrate regular attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to edge, trim and mow.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetation.
• Assists with course detail tasks (weed and debris cleanup).
• Supports golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles to haul material and remove debris.
• Performs skilled tasks related to groundskeeping experience.
• Works safely and is aware of colleagues and work areas.
• Performs other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities of the Greenskeeper II:

• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Greenskeeper I:

• One month related experience or training.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance
