Job summary

The Greenbrier is seeking a Golf Course Maintenance position in White Sulphur Springs, WV. Anticipated start around April 13, 2026, with early morning shifts and weekend rotation. Primary duties include mowing, cup changes, trimming, watering, and course marking for events, all while upholding safety procedures.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year golf/turf experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for daily guest interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Been employed for 1 year on a golf course or turf related area preferred.
• Be of high character.
• Able to get along well with others.
• Perform the job with enthusiasm and high energy.
• Understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
• Operate the greensmower in a safe and satisfactory manner.

Responsibilities

• Mowing greens, fairways, tees, roughs, and collars.
• Changing cups and markers.
• Trim mowing, and detail trimming.
• Watering, fertilizing, grooming, and topdressing.
• Marking courses for tournament play.
• Follow safety policies and SOPs.
• Participate in training sessions as required.
• Maintain professional language with guests and coworkers.
