Job summary

Pinnacle Golf Club is looking for dedicated greens crew members to maintain and enhance the beauty and playability of our golf course. This role emphasizes routine maintenance of greens, fairways, and bunkers, with focus on safety and attention to detail.

Candidates should be prepared for early mornings, weekends, and holidays, and work well with a team to ensure timely task completion. The ideal applicant has prior golf course maintenance experience, knowledge of turf grasses and irrigation,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in golf course maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of turf grasses, irrigation systems, and golf course maintenance practices.
• Ability to operate and maintain a variety of landscape equipment and machinery.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions and lift/move heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and schedules.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as per golf course requirements.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a landscaping or golf course environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on the golf course, including mowing, edging, and trimming of greens, fairways, roughs, and other playing areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of equipment storage areas, ensuring tools and machinery are stored properly after use.
• Participate in the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems, bunkers, and other course features.
• Monitor and report any course issues, such as damaged turf, tree hazards, or drainage problems, to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow established schedules and guidelines for fertilization, weed control, and pest management, under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent.
• Collaborate with other crew members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
• Uphold a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all aspects of course maintenance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and golf course policies to ensure a safe working environment.
