Job summary

Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, WI is seeking a Greenskeeper to support daily turf care, landscaping, and course upkeep. This outdoor role is hands‑on and offers a chance to contribute to a premier golf experience.

You will operate mowers and light equipment, maintain greens, tees, and bunkers, water greens, and assist with sod and turf repairs. A valid driver’s license and comfort working outside in varying weather are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in golf course, landscaping, or grounds helpful but not required.
• Ability to operate or learn maintenance equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowers, tractors, and light equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain tee boxes, fairways, greens, and surrounding turf areas.
• Mow greens, tees, and approaches using walk‑behind and riding equipment.
• Edge cart paths, bunkers, and turf areas.
• Rake and maintain sand bunkers.
• Apply divot mix to tees and driving range areas.
• Perform weed control and trimming around trees, bunkers, and curbs.
• Assist with sod installation and turf repairs.
• Water greens and monitor course conditions.
• Remove debris such as leaves and maintain overall course appearance.
• Support additional tasks as directed by the superintendent.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Previous golf course, landscaping, or grounds experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to operate or learn to operate maintenance equipment
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent lifting, bending, and manual labor
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally

Work Environment

• Outdoor role in all weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity, rain)
• Moderate to loud noise from equipment
• Physically active, hands‑on work
