Job summary

Palos Verdes Golf Club in California is seeking a dedicated Greenskeeper to maintain our private course and surrounding landscapes. You will mow, rake bunkers, water tees, greens, and roughs, and operate string trimmers or blowers under supervision.

The ideal candidate works safely with hand tools and power equipment, enjoys outdoor work in varying weather, follows verbal directions, and knows grounds maintenance methods.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely with hand tools and power equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to follow verbal directions.
• Knowledge of tools, methods and materials used for grounds and landscape maintenance.
• Ability to operate tools and machinery and safely maneuver vehicles or equipment.

Palos Verdes Golf Club is a private club located in the middle of an 800-acre parkland preserve overlooking Santa Monica Bay with ocean views visible from several holes. Established in 1924, the golf course has long been referred to as "a hidden gem" and the clubhouse is a designated historical building by the Palos Verdes Historical Society.

Greenskeeper Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Mowing
