Job summary

Lindenwood University is seeking a Research Assistant I in the Greenhouse lab to support the laboratory director and coordinator with daily research, educational, and outreach activities. The role involves hands-on lab work, classroom support, and development of instructional materials within the Exercise and Performance Nutrition Lab.

Qualified candidates must be enrolled at Lindenwood and possess a bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field, with prior compliance training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related area is required.
• Currently enrolled as Lindenwood University student.
• Completion and maintenance of all compliance training required upon hire.
• National certifications or licenses related to fitness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance of research activities with university, state and federal regulations.
• Assist with instruction of undergraduate laboratory activities and grading.
• Develop educational workshops on research testing and processes.
• Establish and maintain competence in laboratory testing per protocol.
• Develop and maintain professional training in AED, CPR, DEXA, safety, and phlebotomy.
