Job summary

Mastronardi Produce is seeking a Day Shift Maintenance Technician to support packaging, greenhouse machinery and building functions while complying with Food Safety requirements. The shift runs Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, formal trade training, and 1+ years in a manufacturing setting as a technical specialist. Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and teamwork skills are required to maintain efficient plant

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; formal trade school coursework preferred.
Good working knowledge of electrical, carpentry and plumbing basics.
Ability to troubleshoot plant equipment and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Perform plant and building maintenance as directed by the facility maintenance manager.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain equipment, tools and spare parts.
Assist in preventive, predictive and emergency maintenance to ensure production reliability.
Maintain teamwork and productivity among maintenance staff and participate in training on new equipment.
Ensure materials and supplies are available for daily maintenance tasks.
