Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service, LLC is seeking a classically trained Kitchen Assistant to maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area and to support the culinary team in serving Greek life members nationwide. You will wash utensils, stock supplies, and help ensure smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates have dishwashing experience, can work quickly in a busy environment, pass a background check, and maintain a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Valid food safety handler certification or obtain within 30 days.
• High school coursework in kitchen basics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room.
• Wash kitchen utensils, equipment and dishes using a dishwasher or by hand.
• Put away clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans.
• Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Sweep and wash floors.
• Assist in unloading and putting away deliveries.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers.
• Communicate regularly with management via calls, emails, and texts.
