Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Specialist to join a growing Information Security team. The role supports governance, risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity across IT, cloud, and OT environments.

Location options include Houston, TX (Hybrid: 3 onsite, 2 remote) or Chicago, IL (Remote). This 6-month contract offers strong extension potential and early conversion opportunities with collaboration across security, legal, procurement, and business

Qualifications

3+ years in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or related roles.
Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST 800-53/171, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls.
Experience supporting audits, evidence collection, control testing, and reporting.
Ability to develop and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
Experience with third-party/vendor risk management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain the organization's GRC program across IT, cloud, and OT.
Develop, review, and maintain security policies, standards, and control docs.
Coordinate audit evidence collection for internal/external audits and reviews.
Track findings, remediation plans, and risk acceptance activities.
Perform control testing and compliance validation to ensure security controls work.
Assist with risk assessments, gap analyses, and control maturity reviews.
Collaborate with IT, security, legal, procurement, and operations teams.
Map controls to NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CIS Controls.
