Selective Insurance is seeking a GRC Specialist in New Jersey to execute governance, risk, and compliance activities. You will coordinate third-party risk, track vulnerabilities, and support audits across regulatory frameworks.

You will collaborate with technology and risk stakeholders to ensure evidence completeness, remediation progress, and effective reporting to leadership. A strong detail orientation and clear communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, vulnerability management, audit, or third-party risk concepts.
• Ability to evaluate security evidence and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assessment/remediation activities.
• Clear written and verbal communication for business stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with GRC or vendor risk tools is preferred.

Aufgaben

• GRC Program Execution: perform risk documentation, control mapping, exception tracking, and assessment record maintenance.
• Third-Party Risk Management: coordinate vendor intake, due diligence, follow-ups, and stakeholder communications through closure.
• Vulnerability Management Governance: track remediation status, exception requests, risk acceptance, and aging issues; validate ownership and progress.
• Audit and Compliance Support: collect and validate audit evidence and assist with remediation tracking for findings and gaps.
• Metrics and Continuous Improvement: maintain metrics for risk assessments, vendor status, remediation trends, and documentation completeness.
