Job summary

NinjaTrader in Chicago is looking for a mid-level GRC Engineer to enhance its compliance program through automation. In this hands-on role, you'll integrate compliance workflows and run audits across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and SOX. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in GRC or security compliance.

The compensation will range from $130,000 to $145,000 annually, with an annual target bonus of 10%. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, generous PTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in GRC, IT audit, or security compliance.
• Hands-on experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and SOX audits.
• Strong understanding of access management and change management.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation for continuous control monitoring.
• Run and coordinate SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits.
• Partner with control owners to ensure effective control operations.

Skills

GRC or security experience

Scripting and automation with Python

Working knowledge of compliance frameworks

Excellent written communication skills

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

Education

Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or ISO 27001

Tools

SQL

AWS or GCP or Azure
