Job summary

Perplexity is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst to help shape our compliance and risk program. You will lead efforts to implement SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA, while ensuring GDPR/CCPA/CPRA compliance and strong data privacy controls.

This role will design scalable audit processes and build a robust internal GRC platform, partnering across IT, Security and Engineering. You will translate complex regulatory needs into actionable work streams, manage risk assessments, and craft

Qualifications

6+ years leading audit and compliance engagements.
Translate complex compliance requirements into scalable automation using AI agents.
Experience in cloud-native environments.
Strong ability to collaborate with IT, Security, GTM and Engineering.

Responsibilities

Implement and lead SOC2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA frameworks.
Ensure GDPR, CCPA, CPRA and other privacy regulation compliance.
Design and build scalable audit management processes and documentation systems.
Build internal GRC platform and tooling.
Conduct risk assessments and mitigate data security and compliance risks.
Write, update and enact policies capturing security, privacy, and AI safety requirements.
Follow and shape the AI regulatory landscape to stay at the forefront of industry standards.
