Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, check, store, track supplies or materials and fill tool room orders.
• Practice safety around construction hazards and wear required PPE.
• Keep records of items entering or leaving the tool room.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to small tools as needed.
• Replace or fix worn or broken tool parts and equipment.
• Maintain inventories so items can be located quickly.
• Store materials in bins, on floors, or on shelves.
• Lift, carry and move building materials and supplies.

Qualifications:

Physical/Site Requirements:

• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
• Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
• Work at heights with fall protection, work from manlifts, baskets, JLG's etc.
• PPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required.
