Graywolf Integrated Construction seeks a Warehouse worker for our Cameron, LA project. This entry-level role supports journeymen and helpers on construction tasks, with emphasis on safety, tool use, and general site maintenance.

Candidates should be able to communicate in English, pass required training, and complete pre-hire requirements. The position is full-time and on-site, with physical duties including lifting heavy items and working in varied conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment and work areas; perform general clean-up.
• Follow safety procedures and stop work if hazards arise.
• Stay in close communication with supervision and be ready to respond to tasks.

Summary:

A Warehouse worker assists Craft Journeyman and Craft Helpers by performing support tasks on construction projects such as erecting, wrecking, repairing, maintenance and janitorial functions. Considered entry level.

• Safety – work safely around the hazards associated with the Construction field.
• Tools – use hand, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic tools and in a safe manner.
• Dig, spread and level dirt and gravel using a pick and shovel.
• Lift, carry and hold building materials and supplies
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work areas, including sweeping, mopping and other general clean-up activities.
• Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint or stucco through hose to clean, coat or seal surfaces.
• Stop operations (Stop Work Authority) if you find any hazardous conditions.
• Maintain constant means of communication with supervision.
• Be prepared to operate fire extinguishers, hydrants, fixed monitors and hose carts at any time.
• Always stay on the jobsite while work is being completed.
• Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Qualifications:

• This is an entry level position – however candidates with prior experience will be preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and accurately with employees and customers.
• Must be able to successfully pass required Confined Space Entry training.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.
• Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions as required by client and/or facility policy.

Physical/Site Requirements:

• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
• Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
• PPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required.
