Job summary

CCL Label Food and Beverage Sioux Falls is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the Gravure Press department. You will direct daily operations, manage press operators, and collaborate with planning, prepress, cylinder engraving, plate mounting, ink/solvent rooms, and finishing teams to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in gravure or related printing operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, strong understanding of print technologies, and a track record of

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in gravure or related printing operations.
• Strong technical understanding of gravure printing, cylinders, drying systems, ink transfer, and tension control.
• Proven ability to manage production metrics (OEE, waste %, downtime, throughput).
• Experience with color management and print quality troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations for gravure presses, ensuring schedules, staffing, and materials align with production goals.
• Coordinate with planning, prepress, cylinder engraving, plate mounting, ink/solvent rooms, and finishing teams.
• Monitor run speeds, changeover times, waste levels, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Lead safety audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement in safety culture.
• Train and develop press operators and support staff; manage staffing and cross-training.
