Job summary

DTK Facility Services in Texas seeks a Floor Technician for the graveyard shift to maintain clean, safe facilities. You will strip, wax, buff floors and shampoo carpets, using industrial equipment, and perform light janitorial tasks as needed.

Requirements include prior floor care experience and a reliable, punctual work ethic. English/Spanish bilingual abilities are strongly preferred, with workdays including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in floor care is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Strip old layers of wax and finish from hard-surface floors using stripping solutions and floor machines.
• Apply new layers of wax/finish evenly with mops or applicators.
• Buff out scratches to restore shine on floors.
• Clean carpets with hot water extraction or shampooing machines.
• Assist with light janitorial tasks (trash, mirrors, windows, dusting).
• Assist with light maintenance tasks (bulbs, minor repairs).
• Support special cleaning or facility setup tasks as needed.
• Other duties as needed.
