Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with endorsements (Class A, Hazmat, Tanker) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial truck driving with a clean record.
• Familiarity with ELDs and hours of service tracking.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement.
• Excellent communication with customers and team.
• Physical stamina for lifting and long hours.
• Willingness to work long hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely, following traffic laws and safety policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for roadworthiness.
• Adhere to routes and schedules while adapting to conditions.
• Load/unload and secure cargo to prevent shifting.
• Verify documents like bills of lading and delivery instructions.
• Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch.
• Report accidents or maintenance issues promptly per procedures.
• Provide professional service to customers during delivery and pickup.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and accurate logs and reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
